This page explains the basic legal terms for using Axle Keys — how the platform is used, how accounts work, how uploaded files and generated content are handled, and what responsibilities apply when working with physical objects.
Working draft. This legal page is a practical public-facing draft. It should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before being treated as final legal language. Last updated June 2026.
By accessing or using Axle Keys, you agree to follow these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to Axle Keys websites, applications, accounts, Studio projects, Exhibition pages, Showroom pages, documentation, MCP/API access, and related services.
Axle Keys provides tools for creating, editing, configuring, viewing, publishing, and exporting CAD models and related project information. This may include: Studio workspace, configurable CAD models, Systems, project files, model parameters, 3D previews, part lists, material lists, cut lists, documentation, Exhibition pages, Showroom pages, account and billing tools, AI-assisted workflows, MCP/API access, and export and job workflows.
Some features may be experimental, limited, or in active development. Axle Keys may change, add, remove, or update features over time.
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login information secure, using accurate account information, maintaining control of your account, managing billing and credits where applicable, and notifying Axle Keys if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not use another person's account without permission.
You may upload files, references, models, images, drawings, notes, or other project materials. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload and use those materials. Axle Keys may use uploaded files to display project context, support Studio workflows, assist model generation or editing, help agents understand a project, prepare exports, and support validation or publishing workflows.
Do not upload confidential, private, restricted, or third-party materials unless you have permission and understand how they will be used inside the platform.
Axle Keys may help generate models, code, parameters, part lists, descriptions, exports, and other project content. Generated content may be imperfect — it may include incorrect dimensions, invalid geometry, incomplete parts, material errors, code errors, or unsafe outputs. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before using it for fabrication, installation, sale, or public presentation.
Axle Keys does not guarantee that generated content is accurate, complete, safe, legal, code-compliant, or suitable for a specific purpose.
Axle Keys works with models of physical objects. Physical objects can involve real-world risks, including material failure, structural failure, unsafe installation, incorrect dimensions, code violations, injury, property damage, and financial loss.
Axle Keys may provide tools that help create, configure, review, or export models, but it does not replace professional design review, engineering review, fabrication expertise, installation expertise, building code review, safety review, material testing, or human judgment. You are responsible for verifying any model, drawing, cut list, export, or generated output before using it in the real world.
Axle Keys Systems are structured ways of creating object families. A System may include parts, parameters, rules, constraints, materials, examples, and outputs. Systems are intended to make models more useful and structured, but they do not guarantee correctness or fitness for a specific use. A model created inside a System still requires review.
Exhibition is a public browsing space for configurable models. If you publish a model to Exhibition, that model and related information may become visible to the public. Only publish content you have the right to share. Axle Keys may remove or hide Exhibition content that violates these terms, creates risk, infringes rights, or is otherwise inappropriate for the platform.
Showroom is a public product-line space for users, shops, builders, designers, and businesses. If you create or manage a Showroom, you are responsible for the accuracy of product descriptions, pricing or quoting information, materials, options, business claims, fabrication claims, and customer communications. Axle Keys provides the platform — you are responsible for your business, products, customers, and fulfillment.
Axle Keys may allow users to connect AI agents, development tools, external applications, or automation workflows through MCP, API access, or related tools. You are responsible for any access granted through your account. Agent and API workflows may be able to read project data, create drafts, modify parameters, run jobs, request exports, and consume credits. Only grant access to tools and agents you trust.
Some features may require payment, credits, subscriptions, or usage fees. You are responsible for reviewing charges, usage, and plan limits connected to your account. Axle Keys may change pricing, credit rules, or access levels over time.
You retain the rights you have in content you upload or create, subject to these terms, third-party rights, and any applicable licenses. By using Axle Keys, you grant Axle Keys permission to host, process, display, transform, generate, export, and operate your content as required to provide the service. You may not upload or publish content that infringes another person's intellectual property rights.
Axle Keys is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Axle Keys disclaims warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability. Axle Keys does not guarantee that models, outputs, exports, generated content, Systems, AI responses, or agent actions will be correct, safe, complete, or suitable for your intended use.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Axle Keys is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost business, lost data, fabrication errors, installation issues, material loss, property damage, or injury arising from use of the platform or reliance on generated outputs. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply.
You may stop using Axle Keys at any time. Axle Keys may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk, fail to pay required fees, or use the service in a way that harms users, infrastructure, or the business. Some data may remain in backups or public pages for a period after account changes or deletion requests.
Axle Keys may update this Legal page from time to time. When changes are made, the updated page will be posted here. Continued use of Axle Keys after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Axle Keys may collect information you provide directly, including name, email address, account information, billing information, profile information, project names, uploaded files, model files, prompts and messages, support requests, contact form submissions, Showroom information, and business information.
Axle Keys may process project and model information, including CAD model data, model code, parameters, parts, files, material settings, generated outputs, export requests, validation reports, model previews, version history, job history, and published model data. This information is used to provide Studio, Systems, Exhibition, Showroom, MCP/API access, exports, and related workflows.
Axle Keys may collect information about how the platform is used, such as pages visited, features used, browser and device information, log data, errors, performance information, account activity, credit usage, and API or MCP usage. This information helps operate, secure, improve, and debug the platform.
Axle Keys may use AI models, agents, or third-party model providers to support features such as model generation, chat assistance, code editing, file interpretation, validation, repair workflows, and export preparation. Information sent to AI or agent tools may include prompts, project context, files, model code, parameters, screenshots, and other relevant data. Axle Keys uses permissions and controls to limit what agents can access.
Axle Keys may use information to provide the platform, manage accounts, operate Studio, process models and files, generate or edit content, support Systems, operate Exhibition and Showroom, process billing and credits, provide customer support, improve features, debug errors, prevent abuse, protect security, and comply with legal obligations.
Axle Keys may share information with service providers that help operate the platform, hosting and storage providers, payment processors, analytics or logging tools, AI model or agent providers, email and communication tools, professional advisors, and legal or compliance authorities when required. Information is shared with other users or the public only when you publish or share content. Axle Keys does not sell personal information as a core business model.
Axle Keys may retain information as long as needed to provide the service, maintain accounts, preserve project history, support billing, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and operate backups. Deleted projects or accounts may remain in backups or logs for a limited period. Public content may remain visible until it is unpublished or removed.
Axle Keys uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information. No system is perfectly secure. Users are responsible for protecting account credentials, connected tools, API keys, MCP access, and any devices or services used to access Axle Keys.
Depending on your account and location, you may be able to update account information, delete or unpublish certain content, manage billing, manage connected tools, manage API or MCP access, and request access, correction, or deletion of certain information. Some requests may be limited by legal, security, billing, or platform requirements.
Axle Keys is not intended for children. Users should not create accounts or submit personal information if they are not old enough to use online services under the laws that apply to them.
For privacy-related questions, contact Axle Keys through the Contact page.
Axle Keys is for creating, configuring, documenting, publishing, and preparing physical object models. It should not be used in ways that harm people, violate rights, attack systems, or create unsafe outputs.
You may not use Axle Keys to knowingly create, upload, publish, request, or distribute content that:
Axle Keys may suspend or remove access if platform use creates risk, violates these terms, or harms other users or the service.
Some physical objects may involve safety, structural, electrical, mechanical, regulatory, or environmental risks. If your project involves risk to people, property, machines, vehicles, buildings, utilities, or public spaces, you are responsible for obtaining appropriate professional review. Axle Keys may restrict, refuse, or remove workflows that create unacceptable risk.
Generated models, model code, part lists, cut lists, drawings, exports, and other outputs should be treated as drafts until reviewed. Do not assume an output is correct because it was generated by Axle Keys, an AI assistant, an agent, or a System.
Unless specifically stated in a separate written agreement, Axle Keys outputs are not professionally certified, engineered, code-approved, fabrication-approved, or installation-approved.
You are responsible for verifying dimensions, materials, tolerances, hardware, load conditions, installation methods, machine settings, local codes, safety requirements, and final fabrication details. Use professional review where appropriate.
